Mother Nature's Cruel Joke

Just a few days ago we were cleaning vehicles, raking the yard, taking the motorbike in for its annual service and enjoying the spring sunbeam and warmer temperatures. Then Friday April 25th and all hell breaks loose! According to The National Weather Service it says that 17.2 inches fell at its office just south of Anchorage's international airport and 22 inches fell in northeast Anchorage on Friday and Saturday. We only got about 4 or 5 inches at home but that was 4 or 5 inches way to much. The one good thing is its nice and wet and will provide nice moisture for the lawns and the flower beds.
