It was a gorgeous day today and the snow and ice was actually melting off the back of the house and the birds were having a wonderful picnic lunch.

Here is my little squirrel friend again, he/she

was out on this logging in the sunshine soaking up the heat. I never thought I could get excited about temperatures in the 40° ever but I think

that I am becoming Alaskanized! (for lack of a better term) It felt like a regular heat wave. This little squirrel was not quite as brave today after the doggie scare the other day.
